The Bar is still lovingly known as ‘Mary’s of The Glen’. The prior proprietor Mary McLaughlin and her family owning the premises from 1970-2010. Aengus Haughey is the current proprietor, bringing the 250 year old pub into a new culture and era.

Bia Box

The Olde Glen Bar Bia Box is now open in the wee village serving sandwiches on different bread styles from a converted shipping container at the rear of the bar. Our food is served in take-away compostable containers. You choose to enjoy in the bar, garden or take-away. Enjoy!

"Just Wonderful"

My partner and I visited the olde glen for dinner followed by drinks in the bar - we loved it so much we went two nights in a row! The food is exceptional, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere throughout the restaurant and bar was just wonderful! We stayed in Clara Cots (this is located right beside the pub, and run by the same owners of the Olde Glen) I would highly recommend booking a trip here - newly renovated rooms, extremely clean and again the staff were exceptional!
